Discover the Muppet Easter Eggs Hidden Throughout Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster
Disney has revealed some of the many hidden details, references, and props that guests will find inside the reimagined Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The attraction’s new storyline takes guests on a high-speed trip across town to the biggest concert ever hosted by The Electric Mayhem, while surrounding visitors with nods to classic Muppet films, shows, attractions, and characters.
A Reimagined G-Force Records
As guests enter G-Force Records, now under the ownership of Muppet entrepreneur J.P. Grosse, they will discover memorabilia, props, visual jokes, and references to The Muppets throughout the queue.
Many items from the former Muppet*Vision 3D attraction have also been incorporated into the experience.
Gallery Case Room
Visitors will find a collection of iconic Muppet artifacts, including:
- A tribute display dedicated to Miss Piggy
- A recreation of Kermit the Frog’s famous banjo from “The Rainbow Connection”
- Original guitars used by Floyd and Janice from The Electric Mayhem
The Alley
The backstage alley area features numerous Easter eggs and props, including:
- Original shipping crates from Muppet*Vision 3D
- Statler and Waldorf’s theater balcony chairs
- Gonzo’s stunt airplane
- Gonzo’s famous cannon from Muppet*Vision 3D
- Pizza boxes from PizzeRizzo
- The Mona Lisa artwork previously displayed at Mama Melrose
- References to Bean Bunny, Fozzie Bear, and The Electric Mayhem
Guests can also spot The Squeakeasy, which was established in 1936 as a tribute to the birth year of Jim Henson.
Muppet Labs Parking Garage
The queue also includes vehicles from popular Muppet productions, such as:
- The Interpol Car from Muppets Most Wanted
- The fan-favorite Muppet Mobile Lab vehicle
Hollywood 101 Freeway
While riding the attraction, guests can look for:
- World Wide Studios from The Muppet Movie
- The PizzeRizzo sign
- A crossing sign featuring Waldo from Muppet*Vision 3D
Backstage at the Concert
As the attraction comes to an end, guests will discover additional tributes, including:
- Statler and Waldorf making one final appearance
- A portrait honoring Jim Henson that was previously displayed in the Muppet*Vision 3D pre-show area
